On her way to bed, Joan asked if I was coming out with her in the morning.
What time?, I asked.
5:30, she replied.
Yikes. Last time I did this (a week ago), I had to stay up all night to get up that early. Took a camera with me, of course.
I know that the early morning light is great for photography. One of my regrets is that the Dallas Arboretum doesn’t open its gates until 9am—and the ball game is half over at that point. But 5:30. Well, that’s ridiculous.
