Been kind of quiet here, because I have been really, really busy, doing something I hate doing: product research. Just about done, and I should get back on track here before long.
The Sony DT 30 f/2.8 SAM Macro lens is cheap in both senses of the word: inexpensive, and, well, inexpensively built, as in, it’s made of plastic. Does that mean it’s a bad or mediocre lens? No, it does not. It is, in fact, a pretty good lens.
And in addition to possessing the technical qualities required to take good, sharp, nicely rendered photos, the 30 f/2.8 SAM is also very lightweight.
